Tier Marketing Group is a family business that provides marketing and design services. With values rooted in trust and community, Tier was founded in 2024 by Rachael Lanter and Ethan Essig to focus on crafting compelling stories through innovative solutions for web, Adobe, and communication applications. From social media marketing to photography, graphic design for print and web, and other marketing collateral, Tier strives to bring your brand to life. With storytelling being at the core of everything we do, we're committed to helping you build authentic connections with your audience.
Meet Rachael Lanter
Rachael is a seasoned marketing professional with a passion for creativity and innovation. Graduating from Stephens College in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Communications & Design and a Minor in Business Management and Ownership. Rachael brings a blend of strategic insight and design expertise to every project. With a career spanning six years in the marketing industry, Rachael's journey began as a freelancer while also serving as a Manager at Urban Outfitters. Her diverse experience led her to Essig Management, where she honed her skills for another year before co-founding Tier Marketing Group With Ethan in 2024.
Rachael was drawn to marketing for its unique blend of creativity with analytical thinking. Her ability to conceptualize innovative solutions for web, Adobe, and communication applications is matched by her proficiency in social media engagement, photography, marketing, advertising, and graphic design. Notable among her achievements is her work on the crew staff's t-shirt designs along the West Region for McDonald’s Corporation.
Outside of work, Rachael finds joy in spending time with family and loved ones, often gathering for dinners at her family's house on weekends. Her creative spirit extends beyond the workplace, indulging in hobbies like knitting, photography, and gardening, which offer moments of relaxation and inspiration.
Meet Ethan Essig
Ethan is the Owner/Partner of Tier Marketing Group. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business and Philosophy from Northwest Missouri State University, a blend that has provided him with analytical thinking and a broader understanding of the human experience in unexpected ways. Over the years, he gained extensive experience by owning and operating multiple McDonald's franchises, which developed his deep understanding of business operations, leadership, and strategic planning. Recently, he transitioned to a career in Marketing, drawn by the power of storytelling and its influence on consumer behavior. Now, he focuses on leveraging his business experience to craft compelling marketing strategies, helping businesses grow and connect with their audiences.
His achievements include successfully launching and managing multiple McDonald's franchises, publishing articles on travel blogging and photography, and being recognized for his innovative approaches to business operations. In his free time, he channels his creativity through travel blogging, landscape and travel photography, and keeping up with the ever-evolving world of social media. These creative pursuits fuel his wanderlust and inspire fresh perspectives on marketing strategy. He has published articles on travel blogging and photography, showcasing his ability to connect with audiences through storytelling. Additionally, he is a full-fledged Coffee Enthusiast, finding joy and inspiration in everything from bold espressos to frothy lattes. Coffee is not just a pick-me-up; it's a source of inspiration for new ideas and an opportunity to discover hidden coffee gems.
